The Ghana Medical Association (GMA) has on March 25, released a press statement calling on the government to declare a lockdown in the country with immediate effect.
According to the Association, they want only persons providing essential services to be allowed to go about their activities in times President Akufo-Addo has described as “not ordinary.”
Part of the statement reads;
“The lockdown though not a comfortable decision for leadership and citizens alike is a proven option backed by science and along with the other measures will ultimately be in our best interest. We call on all Ghanaians to support such a move in the national interest to save our nation from the devastating effects of this pandemic”.
A video of Nana Addo speaking on the matter has emerged and according to him, the decision is still pending.
Nana Addo talked about the fact that there would be many consequences most people would face if the country goes under a lockdown.
According to the president of the country, he has received uncountable messages from individuals and organizations asking him and his government to take a decision to keep Ghana on lockdown for an immense treatment to be carried to curb the outbreak of Coronavirus.
Nana Addo again stated that since the decision is still on board for deliberations among other leaders of the nation, the necessary settled on the decision will be communicated

Speaking to Ruth’s mother , she said when she noticed the symptoms on her daughter, she ask her daughter the responsible boy for the pregnancy.

The suspected boy Yaya justify that though he has dated Ruth before but they have called off the relationship getting to three months, Yaya revealed.
The girl later accused other four boys whom she had relationship with, within a month , all the suspect boys also denied guilty .
Ruth the twelve years girl has become stranded and can’t identified the person responsible for her pregnancy, because of the affairs she had with four boys within one .
According to the mother, said her daughter is pregnant for seven month and they haven’t identify any boy yet.
A rather unfortunate news is that Ghana’s coronavirus cases has hit 132 cases with 4 deaths.

– A 30-year-old man has drowned at the OLA beach in Cape Coast when he went swimming on Sunday.
The stoutly built man identified as Michael, popularly called Bodee by his colleagues, was among a group of workers from Quest International at OLA, a suburb of Cape Coast, who went to refresh at the seaside on Sunday.
A member of the group who pleaded anonymity told the press at the beach that they were swimming in groups when the incident happened.
According to him, the incident went unnoticed until the group converged under a summer hut at the beach and realized that their numbers were not adding up.
They raised the alarm when they could not find Michael. Leaders of the OLA fishing community performed some rites at the shore and not long after, Michael’s body was washed ashore.

Former Health Minister, Joseph Yieleh Chireh wants the government to immediately lockdown Accra, Kumasi and put the necessary systems in place before the coronavirus situation in the country gets out of hand.

“My candid view about lockdown is that it is getting too late and when you allow the situation to alarm everybody, the lockdown will be difficult to do. “Accra, Kumasi, by this time, there should have been a lockdown. It is unpleasant but in carrying it out, we will learn from the other countries. If we do not do this early and allow the disease to spread, by the time we lock down almost everybody will be in distress,” he said.
Member of Parliament (MP) for Ningo Prampram, Samuel George, has written to the Speaker of Parliament to announce that he will be absenting himself from the House henceforth because of fear of the Coronavirus.
According to him, the house have not put any measures in place to protect them from the pandemic disease, and he can’t put his life as take.
He is, therefore, opting to work from home until adequate measures are put in place for his safety.
Woman commit suicide after texting positive of covid 19
The woman, a 35-year-old mother hanged herself to death after she tested positive for the coronavirus.
A suicide note left behind notes a confession with reasons being that she feared for her children’s safety and health.
Her body was recovered with a confession letter beside her corpse.The whole family was shocked by the news and also concerned with their health because they have spent a lot of time.
A source close to the situation as revealed to aborsticnewsroom. that the family wants to get tested for coronavirus as a result of the sad news.
Her sister says she saw how she was a couple of days before she committed suicide, she didn’t seemed well nor behaved normal but she didn’t take that to heart.
“This corona virus is getting rampant and I wish the government could find a quick solution for it because now our kids are dying and worse killing themselves”, the mother of the deceased said to the police.
